LIM Sang-yoon, the director of Company Man starring popular Korean actor So Ji-sub, will be gracing the opening of the Manila leg of the 2014 Korean Film Festival tonight at the SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.
Organized by the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines (KCC) and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, the nationwide film festival first opened in Clark, Pampanga in September. It then went to Davao on September 24 and Cebu on October 1.
It features seven films led by the action-thriller The Company Man; thriller films Hide and Seek, Hwayi, and King of Pigs; romantic comedy All about My Wife; and dramas Man on the Edge and My Paparotti.
The Korean film festi is in cooperation with the Film Development Council of the Philippines, the Film Cultural Exchange Program, Korea Copyright Commission, Korea Tourism Organization, SM Cinema and SM Lifestyle Entertainment Inc.
