Think no more as the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) is encouraging everyone to visit the land of Koreanovelas and K-pop as it holds the Korea Travel Mart 2015 on October 24 and 25 at the Activity Center of Glorietta Mall in Makati City.
With the support of the Korean Cultural Center (KCC) and Philippine KPop Committee Inc. (PKCI), the travel mart will be featuring booths showing the best of what Korea has to offer.
To be participated by leading airlines and travel agencies, it is the perfect opportunity to check out the best deals and the most interesting tours in and around Korea.
As of the present, exhibiting airlines include Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways, Jeju Air, Cebu Pacific Air and Air Asia Zest. On the hand, travel agents will be on hand to assist in guests’ requirements.
Three areas await guests at the Korea Travel Mart. Begin at “Travel Korea Zone” and find autumn and winter packages as prepared by airlines and travel agencies. For a specific destination in mind, exhibitors can also customize a tour for and give free consultation.
Autumn, which happens from September to November, is the perfect time to visit Korea because of the mild climate. However, to those wishing to experience freezing winter, visit the country from November to February. Then, tourists can still enjoy Ski Resorts where they can enjoy snow activities like skiing, snowboarding, and ice-skating, among others.
Move on to “Imagine your Korea Zone” where all travel information will be provided from visa guidelines to tips on how to make a memorable trip.
Moreover, KTO will also hold a Facebook-like event in which Korea Travel Kit and other freebies are up for grabs.
In this zone, also redeemable are special gifts from KTO upon purchase of air tickets or packages from the participating airlines or travel agencies.
The most exciting zone is the “K-Culture: Hallyu Zone” meant for fans of K-Pop. To be displayed at the area are KPOP Star standees perfect for selfies or groufies.
Visitors of this zone will also be invited to take the Korean cultural experience to the next level by donning the traditional costume Hanbok, or by preparing cuisines like Bibimbap or Kimbap.
To further heighten the Korean experience, KTO also lined up various performances for travel mart visitors.
Leading the roster of performers is Painters Hero, an innovative art performance that stages the mind-blowing skills of live drawing with incredible visual effects filled with a witty blend of mime, dance, and comedy right before your eyes.
The entertainment doesn’t stop as K-pop Idol group No Other Man, or NOM, will also perform for everyone. Get the chance to be closes these idols as they will also have a fansign event.
Other festivities include live demonstrations by a Taekwondo team and K-Pop dance lessons.
