WARSAW: Polish Formula One driver Robert Kubica said Friday he is “in better shape” now than he was before a serious rally accident seven years ago, and hopes to reclaim a full-time racing seat.

The 33-year-old’s F1 career came to a sudden halt in 2011 when he partially severed his right arm following a crash during a rally in Italy.
