Top seed De La Salle University (DLSU) will meet champion Far Eastern University (FEU) in the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) Women’s League at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium at 2 p.m. today.
La Salle is currently seeded No. 1 with a record of two straight wins while FEU is No.5 with a victory and a draw.
The Lady Archers began their campaign with a 4-1 victory over The Younghusband Football Academy followed by a resounding 6-0 win against their rivals Ateneo de Manila University.
In their previous outing, La Salle won through the lone strike of Kyra Dimaandal in the 60th minute to escape the pesky Hiraya FC last Decem- ber 11.
On the other hand, the Lady Tamaraws were off to a gloomy start after being held to the scoreless draw by Outkast FC during the opening of the tilt.
FEU entered the winners’ column last week after thumping newcomers Kaya FC, 4-0, through the first half brace performance of Jovelle Sudaria.
Outkast will be playing against Fuego Espana FC in the 4:30 p.m. match followed by the 7 p.m. clash between Green Archers United FC and Kaya FC.
Outkast is currently No. 2 in the provisional standings with two victories and a draw while Green Archers United is No. 6.
Both Fuego Espana FC and Kaya FC are still winless after three games.
