De La Salle University bucked a second-set lapse and turned back National University, 25-14, 21-25 25-19, 25-15, on Wednesday in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines Season 78 women’s volleyball tournament at The Arena in San Juan City.
Utility spiker Kim Dy posted a career-high 25 points on 15 attacks, five blocks and five aces to lead the Lady Spikers to an 11-3 record.
With La Salle’s victory, University of the Philippines (7-6) automatically earned the last Final Four spot.
The second-seeded La Salle will be facing No. 3 Far Eastern University (9-5) while top seed and defending champion Ateneo de Manila University will meet UP in their respective Final Four matches.
The Lady Spikers and Lady Eagles are holding twice-to-beat cards.
The first Final Four game between the Lady Eagles and the Lady Maroons will be played on Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Judith Abil and Celine Domingo combined for 17 points while Dana Disquitado had 32 excellent sets for UE.
The Lady Falcons fell to 3-11 with Jessica Galanza scoring 13 points.
In the men’s division, UP stunned Adamson, 31-29, 18-25, 25-18, 25-22, while Far Eastern University tamed University of Santo Tomas, 25-23, 25-22, 25-18.
