The country’s key shelter and social-insurance agencies Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund) and Social Security System (SSS) will take part in the upcoming Lamudi Affordable Housing Fair on July 15-16 at the Glorietta 3 Activity Center in Makati City.
But more than showcasing their programs and projects aligned in affordable real estate, SSS and Pag-IBIG Fund will use the event to share important knowledge when it comes to investing. The state-run social-insurance agency will talk about investing in foreclosed properties and how SSS can help during an investment seminar on July 15, the first day of the event. The Pag-IBIG Fund, on the other hand, will conduct a home buying seminar on the second day on July 16.
“An affordable housing event will not be complete without the presence of these important government agencies. I believe that their programs will be significant in finally realizing the life-long dream of Filipinos to own a property,” said Bhavna Suresh Chathambeth, chief executive officer and managing director of the Lamudi Group (Lamudi Philippines, MyProperty.ph).
As Lamudi Philippines envisions itself to be Filipinos’ one-stop shop for everything about real estate, the top property portal acknowledges that the expertise and reach of the country’s key agencies are essential in achieving this.
“The Lamudi Affordable Housing Fair is just a start to bigger and long-term partnerships between us and the two primary government agencies. Lamudi believes that by working hand in hand with the SSS and the Pag-IBIG Fund, we can make a big difference in the progress of the real estate industry,” Suresh said.
Visitors of the Lamudi Affordable Housing Fair can expect valuable information from both government and private institutions that are part of the two-day affordable housing fair.
Through the event, Pag-IBIG Fund will offer their Pag-IBIG Fund Loyalty Card and will answer queries detailing on their provident savings and various shelter or housing programs, services, and benefits.
The event is open to the public free of charge. Just register online or at the event to gain access to the widest showcase of value-for-money properties. You can also get a chance to avail exclusive property discounts and win freebies and exciting raffle items from the wide range of partners and exhibitors. Foreclosed properties auction and virtual reality in real estate will also available in the event.
The event will also share the latest investment trends and affordable housing updates through seminars and panel discussions in collaboration with CNN Philippines.
SMDC, Century Properties and ProFriends are just some of the major sponsors of the affordable housing–focused event. The Lamudi Affordable Housing Fair is the second installment of the Lamudi Housing Fair series that started November of 2016. The first edition was attended by more than 5,000 visitors. Guests are expected to double this year as the event will cater to the biggest chunk of the housing market.
