Lascuña targets third PGT crown

Tony Lascuña gears up for an uphill battle in pursuit of back-to-back crowns and third title on the Philippine Golf Tour as he takes on an elite field the ICTSI Classic beginning on Wednesday at the Mt. Malarayat Golf and Country Club in Lipa City, Batangas.

Winner here in 2015, Lascuña boosted his confidence to reclaim the crown from last year’s champion Clyde Mondilla by winning the last PGT event, the ICTSI Forest Hills Championship where he warded off an early final round charge by Jhonnel Ababa, turned back Miguel Tabuena midway through before beating Zanieboy Gialon by three.
