The family of slain Filipino transgender Jeffrey “Jennifer” Laude asked Justice Secretary Leila De Lima on Monday to replace Olongapo City Prosecutor Emilie Delos Santos as lead public prosecutor in their case against US Marine Pfc Joseph Scott Pemberton.
Harry Roque accompanied his clients—Julita Cabillan and Malou Laude—to the Department of Justice (DOJ) where they aired their disappointments against Delos Santos, whom they accused of not representing their interest in the case.
