Actress Dawn Zulueta and her husband Davao del Norte Rep. Antonio Lagdameo sought the help of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) after they received incessant death threats.
The couple, through their lawyer Rudolph Jurado, said they started receiving death threats through text messages during the campaign period.
They said the threats continued even after the elections. Later, they noticed that their house was under surveillance by unidentified persons, and some people on board cars and motorcycles would trail them.
The couple said they also caught some persons taking pictures of their child.
In another incident, while Dawn was shooting a movie somewhere in Laguna, four men on board two motorcycles asked crew of the film outfit about her schedule, particularly the time she will finish the shooting.
The NBI vowed to uncover who is behind the death threats.
The couple supported the candidacy of Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., who is contesting the result of the vice presidential elections.
Lagdameo did not run for any elective office in the May 9 polls.
