A measure seeking a uniform P750 minimum wage rate nationwide and the abolition of all the regional wage boards was filed at the House of Representatives on Monday.
The Makabayan bloc, composed of party-list Representatives Carlos Zarate of Bayan Muna, Arlene Brosas and Emmi de Jesus of Gabriela, Antonio Tinio and France Castro of Alliance of Concerned Teachers, Ariel Casilao of Anakpawis and Sarah Elago of Kabataan party-list filed House Bill 7787 in response to rising prices of basic goods amid the implementation of the Tax Reform for Inclusion and Acceleration (Train).
