BALANGA City, Bataan: Some members of the National Movement of Young Legislators (NMYL) in Bataan on Monday said they were considering filing an election protest on last Friday’s results of the NMYL election in Cebu City or even seeking the abolition of the organization. “I was quite dismayed with the kind of election that we experienced during the 20th congress of NMYL. Though not so conclusive, my team is decided to file an election protest,” said Bataan provincial Board member Aris Gaza during a privilege speech in the Sangguniang Panlalawigan session. Gaza, NMYL vice president for Luzon, ran for national president but lost to Councilor Kirk Asis of Bayugan City in Agusan del Norte. Asis got 663 votes as against Gaza’s 396.
