The Department of Health (DOH) reported 387 leptospirosis from January to July 26 nationwide, which is 58.39 percent lower compared to the same period last year of 930.
The DOH said most of the cases came from Region VI with 83 (21.45 percent), followed by Region II with 55 (14.21 percent), NCR (National Capital Region), 39 (10.08 percent); Region X, 37 (9.56 percent) Region III (9.04 percent).
