• LEPTOSPIROSIS CASES IN PASAY DOWN BY 90%

    Mayor Antonino “Tony” Calixto of Pasay City on Sunday said that the cases of leptospirosis in the city is 90 percent lower from January to August this year compared to last year. In a report submitted by the Pasay City Health Office, there are only six cases of leptospirosis reported in Pasay City from January to August this year and three of these cases were reported during the onslaught of habagat and Typhoon Maring on August 18 to 24. Calixto said this is 90 percent lower than the 60 reported cases of leptospirosis last year covering the same period.
