Despite the sad incident involving teammate point guard Franz Dysam, coach Caloy Garcia’s squad showed maturity and can handle emotions by whipping the Arellano Chiefs, 67-57, last Thursday, courtesy of dimunitive Mark Cruz.
The 21-year-old sophomore student Cruz, a management student, fired 25 points on remarkable 50 percent shooting in the field goal to lead the Knights victory and proved they are a force to reckon with in the season. They won their last crown in 2005 led by Boyet Bautista and JP Alcaraz.
