• Letran sponsors 2nd Fil-Canadian exhibition games


    Colegio de San Juan de Letran hosted the Canada-based Dream Hoops ball club for the 2nd Letran – Fil-Canadian Exhibition Games held at the Blessed Antonio Varona Ortega, OP.

    Letran won the 14-under game, 54-69, while Dream Hoops took the 16-under skirmish, 83-77.

    Dream Hoops, which was composed of young Fil-Canadian cagers from Vancouver, is a term from the Dream Hoops Academy founded by Letran alumnus, Nap Santos.

    Santos played for the Letran Knights from 1993 to 1996.

    “I am very much Arriba Letranista,” he said during the opening ceremony.

    The Letran squad was headed by Coach RJ Guevarra.
