REXONA20131013Music and marathon in one
Live music—this is what sets the Rexona Run apart from any other running event ever mounted in the Philippines to date. Dubbed “Run to your Beat,” this year’s marathon definitely pushed the brand’s advocacy to Do:More as it challenged the usual approach to the sport.

“Rexona Run is already in its fourth year and we have to reinvent ourselves. In line with our Do:More philosophy, we came up with the theme of ‘running to the beat of the music.’ And throughout the run, there is no point of the race that there will be no music,” shared Neil Trinidad, Marketing Manager for Deodorant and Oral Care for Unilever, to The Manila at the recent launch of Rexona Run 2013.

To achieve this, Rexona has invited numerous artists who will provide music for the run. Performances by Delta Street, Sandwich, The Diegos, DJ Mia Ayesa, Deuce Manila and DJ Nina will accompany all runners until the 5 km mark, while Funk Avy and DJ Khai will take it from there until the 10 km mark.

Topping the non-stop music festivities are Rico Blanco, Elmo Magalona and Mars Miranda, who will all be performing until the 21 km mark.

With stellar and electrifying sets from these renowned performers that will surely get you sweating it out, you need not worry as Rexona will keep you staying fresh and dry from start will finish. Rexona promises to deliver its promise of efficacy all while giving you a fitness party like no other.

Rexona Run 2013 happens on October 20 at the Mall of Asia Grounds, everyone is invited to join this experience of a lifetime. The gun start of the race will commence at 3 a.m. and will end with a celebratory party at the finish line.
