Based on internal testing, LG’s flagship smartphone is set to offer a more exceptional mobile experience for its users with a noticeable speed boost, allowing the G2 to run applications up to 17 percent faster than before. It can also play music more efficiently and support the battery-saving location mode, extending battery life and improving user enjoyment.
The Chromium engine also allows G2 users to browse the Web and stream online videos more quickly and seamlessly.
“The provision of timely software updates is one of the many ways LG is constantly improving the user experience,” said Lawrence Kim, LG Philippines’ Vice President for Mobile. “In addition to introducing usable new features, the OS upgrade for the G2 delivers a number of optimizations that enhance the entire mobile user experience. We trust that our customers will enjoy the differentiated value offered by our latest upgrade package.”
