Libyan barred from entering the country

THE Bureau of Immigration on Sunday said a Libyan tourist was barred from entering the country because he has a cancelled Philippine visa. Khamil Wesam, 32, boarded the next available flight of Emirates Airlines after arriving at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport terminal 3 on Saturday. It was the second time that Wesam, a Coca-Cola salesman in Tripoli, was refused entry by Philippine immigration saying “the foreigner might be a problem here.” Last week, he came without a hotel booking and his Philippine visa was automatically cancelled.
