Digital services provider PLDT made history once again with the launch of Asia’s first Roku Powered Tvolution—an all-in-one, plug-and-play box that promises to take TV viewing to a whole new level.

To mark the breakthrough innovation and partnership, PLDT Home hosted an exclusive launch at the posh Shangri-La at the Fort on June 8. The powerhouse event brought together industry titans, led by PLDT Chairman Manny Pangilinan, and A-list celebrities and influencers, with no less than Miss Universe 2015 and the brand’s ambassador Pia Wurtzbach hosting the affair.

Guests immersed in the entertainment spectacle as they experienced first-hand the box’s user friendly features and compelling content. The set-up gave guests a glimpse of how the powerful box could change the way families bond together at home.

With the all-in-one powerful box, viewers can watch HD TV channels from Cignal, a huge selection of top Hollywood, Asian regional, and local TV shows and movies from iFlix, critically-acclaimed TV series and films from Netflix, and videos from YouTube. This means easy, one-click access this entertainment content without having to switch between multiple boxes.

Also spotted at the launch were beauty queens Rachel Peters, Miss Universe Philippines 2017 and PLDT Home ambassador; Chanel Olive Thomas, Binibining Pilipinas 2017 Supranational; Nelda Ibe, Binibining Pilipinas 2017 Globe; Pia Wurtzbach, Miss Universe 2015; Mariel de Leon, Binibining Pilipinas2017 International; and Elizabeth Clenci, Binibining Pilipinas 2017 Grand International.

From showbiz were Vic Sotto and wife Pauleen Luna, Tweetie de Leon, Franco Laurel, Ruby Rodriguez and Isabel Oli-Prats Vic Sotto, among others, and UAAP volleyball stars Jaja and Dindin Santiago.
