GMA Network’s family drama series Little Nanay, which brought a different flavor to primetime TV, ends tonight, with its cast and production team convinced they succeeded in promoting family values, compassion and love for all.
Kris Bernal who plays the role Nora Aunor’s granddaughter, the mentally challenged Tinay, sums up the show’s message by saying, “Natutunan ng viewers mula sa Little Nanay na huwag nating husgahan ang tao sa kanyang pagkakamali or pagkukulang. Mas mabuting tingnan natin ang mabuting kalooban niya. Maging pantay-pantay ang treatment sa kahit anuman o sinuman. At pahalagahan ang bawat miyembro ng pamilya at maging madasalin.”
Besides the show’s positive message, Kris expressed a profound gratitude in being able to act alongside the industry’s biggest stars in the show. “Through Little Nanay, nabigyan ako ng chance to work with the best in the industry, like Bembol Roco, Eddie Garcia at ang nag-iisang Superstar Nora Aunor. Tatanawin ko po itong napakalaking opportunity sa career ko sa showbiz habang buhay.”
Under the direction of Ricky Davao, the final episode of Little Nanay airs tonight after 24 Oras on GMA Telebabad.
