POLICE Aviation Security Group (Avsegroup) director, Chief Supt. Pablo Francisco Balagtas on Friday reiterated the warning to the public against bringing bullets while travelling. On late Thursday night, police at Godofredo P. Ramos Airport (Caticlan Airport) arrested a Manila-bound passenger for carrying 14 pieces of live bullets for a .22 caliber pistol. Jerome Flores Sulit was travelling with his wife when security screeners Jee Ar Flores and Christian Tesorero saw an image of ammunition on Sulit’s luggage while passed through the x-ray machine. Sulit failed to present any document for the bullets and was turned over to Malay Police Station for further investigation.
