The Philippine benchmark index was down slightly by market recess in noon, retreating to the 6,700 point.
The Philippine stock exchange index decreased by 0.39 percent or 26.16 points to 6,773.96, while the wider all shares index on the other hand dipped by 0.32 percent or 13.08 points to 4,120.03.
