The 170-year-old Spanish leather brand Loewe proudly launched its “Made To Order” service in Manila, and can claim to be the first international luxury brand to do so in the local fashion scene, albeit for a limited time.
According to Adrian Wong, public relations and marketing manager of Loewe for the Asia Pacific, the service is only offered in select outlets around the world, thus highlighting the brand’s special regard for its Philippine market.
Loewe’s “Made to Order” offer allows patrons to customize luxury-skinned bags, accessories and clothing according to their preference. In Manila, the brand’s fans can choose to tailor-fit the Amazona, Flamenco and newly launched Cruz bags to their taste and requirements.
“These designs are made for career women who like classic, understated pieces that are high in quality,” explained Wong. The Cruz collection in particular was co-designed with Hollywood actress Penelope Cruz and carries the label’s classic look, but with more height, space and strap options.
Four leather materials are available for each of the bags, namely crocodile, ostrich, goat and calfskins. The color palette, meanwhile, features rose quartz, claret, and sky blue, among others.
Loewe’s “Made to Order” service is exclusively available at Rustan’s at The Shangri-La Plaza Mall until February 15.
