MARAWI CITY: At least three persons were killed while five others were injured when a dump truck loaded with sand and gravel slammed into 14 vehicles along the highway in Barangay Saber on Wednesday. One of the three casualties was identified as Arsad Dimasira, while the identities of the two other victims were being verified, according to Chief Insp. Parson Asadil. Injured were Sidic Bandas, Aminah Abdullah, Isnah Pantaran, Sangcopan Jamal Malaino and Sainah Renandang Mascara, who are all undergoing treatment at Amai Pakpak Medical Center. Police said the lorry, reportedly owned by a town mayor in the second district of Lanao del Sur, rammed into the 14 vehicles, including four tricycles, and also damaged a bakery shop. The truck driver escaped.
