Lourd de Veyra on Filipino drinking habits

Anvil Publishing marks Oktoberfest with the release of the latest book by TV 5 host, blogger and best-selling author, Lourd de Veyra. Title Espiritu, it will be launched on October 18 at National Book Store Trinoma, Quezon City.

Espiritu is a cocktail of short stories, trivia, anecdotes and historical accounts about alcoholic beverages, both homegrown and imported. Also tackled in the book are interesting and little known practices during neighborhood “inuman sessions.”
