A low pressure area (LPA) spotted off the Pacific Ocean may likely develop into a tropical depression, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Monday.
If it enters the Philippines, it will be named “Lando,” the 12th cyclone to hit the country this year and the second this month.
