Oil firms are set to lower prices of diesel and kerosene but will increase prices of gasoline products.
In separate advisories on Monday, Shell Philippines, PTT Philippines and Phoenix Petroleum Philippines said they will lower diesel prices by P1.75 per liter effective at 6 a.m. on Tuesday.
Eastern Petroleum implemented the same rollback in diesel prices at 6 p.m. on Monday.
Shell will also lower kerosene prices by P1.20 per liter.
But the oil firms will increase gasoline prices by 10 centavos per liter.
The rollback was primarily driven by continued decrease in prices of petroleum products in the world market.
Last week, the oil companies also lowered prices of diesel and kerosene by P1.45 per liter.
They also reduced gasoline prices by 60 centavos per liter.
