LPG caused explosion at Serendra — Roxas


The findings of government investigators show that the explosion at Two Serendra condominium in Taguig City is compatible with the blast caused by liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas revealed the findings at a Friday

noon press briefing at the Philippine National Police headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City.

The May 31 explosion killed three people in a passing van and injured four others, including the occupant of the condominium’s Unit 501.

Roxas said the probers found no sign that a bomb or any other explosive device triggered the blast.
