The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) on Thursday assured that they will swiftly act on the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) findings on some units of Mitsubisihi Montero Sports which were involved in incidents. LTFRB board member Atty. Ariel Inton said the complaint Atty. Felizardo Toto Tiu, will be reserved for the LTFRB Board en banc. Tiu urged for the suspension of the use of said vehicles for the transport network vehicle services (TNVS) GrabTaxi and Uber because of several incidents of sudden unintended acceleration. Inton added that the Board will convene and come up with a resolution since there are currently more than 70 applicants using Mitsubishi Montero Sports registered with the LTFRB.
