Ormoc City: Leyte Rep. Lucy Torres-Gomez has denied that she allocated funds from her Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) to any of the nongovernment organizations of alleged pork barrel scam mastermind Janet Napoles.
In a radio interview, Gomez said the accusation has no basis.
She said that she tried her best that all the projects in her district were delivered to the people and that there are no ghost projects, no ghost scholars, and no ghost employees.
Gomez was among the individuals named by lawyer Levito Baligod, the legal counsel of Napoles, who allocated P10 million of her PDAF to an NGO run by Napoles.
Baligod said they have yet to file a case against Gomez because they still do not have a copy of the audit report on her PDAF distribution.

Key players, aside from businesswoman Janet Lim-Napoles, is Benhur Luy, her second cousin and former personal assistant, who was rescued from detention by agents of the National Bureau of in 2013.
