After his break up with girlfriend Angel Locsin earlier this year, Luis Manzano is keeping things cool as always.
Despite their differences—or lack thereof—the ex-lovers manage to work together harmoniously in the ongoing fifth season of Pilipinas Got Talent on ABS-CBN.
Manzano and Billy Crawford have served as the reality talent search’s hosts since it premieres on local TV in 2010, while Locsin only joined the latest season as one of the new judges alongside Robin Padilla and Vice Ganda.
In one episode, Manzano even expressed concern over Locsin’s back pain.
It can be recalled that the award-winning actress flew to Singapore late last year to undergo a spinal surgery.
Meanwhile, at the press conference of his game show Family Feud, which also currently airs at ABS-CBN, he was quoted as saying: “Siguro for a while [it became awkward], pero eto magkaibigan kami. Let’s leave it at that. Mas gusto namin ‘yon kesa sa magkaaway kami.”
And as always, Luis translates his laidback attitude in every way he carries himself in public, especially through clothing.
A true man of style, Manzano rocks the modern polo shirt in various prints and colors, when paired with jeans or khakis. Asked about his personal style, the expert host tells The Manila Times he goes for Dockers’ signature On-The-Go Khaki in a straight-fit flat-front silhouette as a versatile essential.
“I love these pants because I can wear them with a T-shirt and sneakers when I am outdoors. If I have to run to a meeting after that, I can just throw on a jacket and change my shoes to something dressier,” he shared.
“I like mix-matching different pieces especially if I have several appointments or events during the day.”
With his ever-busy schedule, comfort is another must for the cool actor and host. He opts for clothing made of breathable material—always making sure that it is crafted in the sartorially pleasing style that he requires.
“These pants look good and are very comfortable—and that’s very important,” Manzano said.
As a final styling tip, he said: “Be confident and be yourself. Dressing like a winner can help people treat you like one.”
That’s cool according to Luis Manzano.
