    The mid-year color trend
Can you pull off a head of blonde hair?

Because if you can, you’ll be on trend for tresses half way into 2015. The next best pick is rich and radiant brown.

Top French hair care and styling brand L’Oréal Professionnel has just unveiled the hair color palette for the season via an exclusive one-day-only event for top hairdressers from premium salons across the country. In partnership with its noted institutional development artists Gary Chew Singapore and Karina Mantolino, the brand introduced its most luxurious hair color collection to date for the bold and beautiful Filipina, dubbed “Lumi-neux.”

Chew is considered as the Lion City’s “hair beauty maven” and director of the prestigious Salon Vim and Chez Vous, while Mantolino is the Philippines’ first institutional development artist for L’Oréal Professionnel and founder of Regine’s Salon.

According to this duo of experts, Lumineux radiates its rich, creative Parisian roots by using the powerful transformation of hair through color and light.

“Entitled Lumineux, which means light or radiant, the collection features two professional hair color and lighting techniques—fast lights and flash colors as inspired by L’Oréal Professionnel UK’s salon service offering,” explained Mantolino. “We developed this collection to equip hairdressers in the Philippines with the latest and most cut-throat techniques to be able to enhance the natural beauty of Filipino women.”

Besides being an expert in color, the collection also greatly underpins the story in salon innovation, reinforcing the brand’s expertise in safe and professional hair color to help Filipinas to express themselves by wearing the most opulent blonds and browns in the salon market.

“Consultation is the first step to all satisfying hair color or style,” Chew joined in. “When you have a clear vision of how you would like to transform the look of your client, you build trust and common understanding with her. At L’Oréal Professionnel, we are proud to say that this important value and behavior cuts across all hairdressers who trust a brand that continuously nurtures them.”

Locks in rich blondes, sultry mocha, and brilliant copper filled the look-and-learn runway event, led by L’Oréal Professionnel Philippines powerhouse ambassadors Sarah Lahbati, Luane Dy, Mikaela Lagdameo-Martinez, Bianca King, Vanessa Matsunaga, and Kylie Padilla, who represent the mestiza, morena, and chinita Filipinas. Renowned Philippine fashion photographer, BJ Pascual, also brought to life the beauty in each and every Lumineux look with the most sensational portraits of the ambassadors.

Go ahead and see which cut and color you can dare to wear.
