    Premier luxury hotel Makati Shangri-La Manila elevates the art of bar for whiskey aficionados with Sage Bar’s latest bottle keep cabinet service where guests can enjoy their favorite bottles from the bar’s rare selection of prized spirits over time.

    The bottle keep cabinet service is an exclusive offering to Sage Bar patrons who are given a key with corresponding number to exclusively access a menu of hard-to-find whiskey, wine and other liquors for a specific period.

    “Our bottle keep cabinet service is an added luxury for our loyal patrons and we aim to maintain high standards of personalized service we are known for,” says Sage Bar outlet manager Simone Cordedda.

    Around 100 bar patrons have already availed of the service while many more are on the exclusive waiting list.
    A long-time patron of Sage Bar, former banker Cesar Vrtusio, is one of the first to avail of the bottle keep service. His bottle keep cabinet currently holds his favorite Hibiki and Yamazaki bottles as he developed appreciation for fine Japanese whiskeys known for its smooth, light expressions.

    “What I love about Sage Bar is the design of the place and the quality of service. I have availed of the bottle keep service since it started because it is convenient and it is an exclusive service. When I want to have a drink, I just come here, a few blocks from where I work and live. Also, their menu offers me options for the products I love like whiskey, wine and other spirits,” shares Virtusio.

    “About 70 percent of the estimated 4,000 guests in a month who come here are regulars and we make it a point to really get to know them, from the type of expressions they want, the order of their preferred drinks, and even the flavorful dishes they pair with their drinks,” enthuses Cordedda.
