THE Luzon grid will be placed on yellow alert for an hour this afternoon because of unexpected outages and high demand, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) said on Tuesday.
The Luzon grid will be on yellow alert from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. today “due to the unexpected shutdown and limited generation of some power plants, and high power demand,” the NGCP said in its text advisory.
