Magallanes Interchange closed for 10 days

The Magallanes Interchange in Makati City (metro Manila) will be closed from August 10 to 20, 2014 for repair, according to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

DPWH-National Capital Region (NCR) Director Reynaldo Tagudando on Wednesday said the flyover needs to be strengthened to restore its integrity.

Tagudando added that the second level from Osmeña Highway toward South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) will be closed to traffic.

He said only motorists who will pass through Osmeña Highway going to SLEX will be affected by the closure.

The DPWH urged motorists to take the Osmeña Highway-Magallanes Service Road instead of the Magallanes Interchange.

The interchange is a four-level flyover.
