MANILA: A magnitude 3.1 earthquake jolted parts of Ilocos Norte on Thursday morning, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
In its bulletin, the agency said the quake occurred at 7:48 a.m. with its epicenter traced at 44 kilometers northwest of Pagudpod, Ilocos Norte.
Phivolcs said the tectonic quake had a depth of 34 kilometers.
The agency said that there was no reported intensity as well as damage while aftershocks are not expected as well. PNA
