A magnitude-3.4 earthquake jolted Davao Oriental province on Monday morning, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
In its bulletin, the agency said the tremor occurred at 5:29 a.m. with its epicenter traced 85 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso town in Davao Oriental .
Phivolcs said the temblor, which was tectonic in origin, had a shallow depth of six kilometers.
According to the agency, there was no casualty or damage reported from the quake.
Phivolcs also said that aftershocks were not expected as well. PNA
