A magnitude 3.5 earthquake struck parts of Cagayan province Friday morning, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
In its bulletin, the agency said the tremor occurred at 6:45 a.m. with its epicenter traced 42 kilometers southwest of Calayan in Cagayan.
However, the agency said there was no casualty or damage reported from the tectonic quake, which had a shallow depth of 15 kilometers.
Phivolcs added that aftershocks were also not expected as well. PNA
