A magnitude 3.8 earthquake jolted the province of Davao Oriental on Thursday afternoon, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
In its bulletin, the agency said the tremor occurred at 4:09 p.m. with its epicenter traced 14 kilometers southeast of Baculin town in Davao Oriental.
Phivolcs said the temblor, which was tectonic in origin, had a shallow depth of 41 kilometers.
The agency noted that there was no casualty or damage reported from the quake.
Phivolcs further noted that aftershocks are not expected as well. PNA
