A magnitude 3.8 earthquake struck the province of Masbate on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).

In its bulletin, Phivolcs said the quake with a magnitude of 3.8 occurred at 2:26 p.m. and the epicenter of the quake was traced 28 kilometers southwest of Claveria in Masbate.
