The 4.3 magnitude earthquake, which rocked parts of Aurora before noon Saturday, was also felt in the National Capital Region (NCR). The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake was recorded at about 12:30 p.m., and was tectonic in origin. It added the quake was felt at Intensity 2 in Quezon City. Phivolcs traced the quake’s epicenter to 11 km northeast of Dingalan in Aurora. No damage or aftershock are expected.
