COTABATO CITY: A magnitude 4.8 earthquake hit the coastal towns of Sultan Kudarat province early Wednesday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
Phivolcs said the epicenter of the 2:51 a.m. tremor was traced 134 kilometers southwest of Palimbang, a coastal town of Sultan Kudarat.
