Magnitude 4 quake hits Luzon, Mindanao

A Magnitude 4 earthquake jolted several areas in Luzon and Mindanao at dawn on Tuesday but no damage to property or injuries to persons were reported. No aftershocks were expected, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said, as it reported that a magnitude 4.3 earthquake with a 10-kilometer depth also shook Burgos, followed by intensity 2 in Laoag City and intensity 2 in Adams, all in Ilocos Norte. A tremor of magnitude 4.1 was similarly recorded in San Felipe, Zambales. Meanwhile, a 4.2 tremor jolted several areas in Mindanao, including Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte while magnitude 3.2 quake with 111-km depth was felt in Tarragona, Davao Oriental.
