A magnitude-5.1 earthquake rocked Davao del Sur province on Wednesday morning, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
In its bulletin, the agency said the quake’s epicenter was traced 59 kilometers southeast of Sarangani in Davao del sur
The tremor, which was tectonic in origin, was recorded at 4:53 a.m. It has a depth of 15 kilometers.
Phivolcs said there were no reports of damage or casualty and aftershocks are not expected as well. PNA
