A magnitude-5.2 earthquake jolted the province of Cagayan on Thursday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.

In its bulletin, the agency said the tremor occurred at 4:27 a.m. with its epicenter traced 45 kilometers southwest of Calayan in Cagayan.
