MAGUINDANAO: A P200-million sports complex will be constructed in this province to promote sports and healthy lifestyle to residents here. Maguindanao Gov. Esmael “Toto” Mangudadatu said the fund for the complex will come from the P2-billion Omnibus Loan approved recently by a partnering government bank for cultural center, agriculture, provincial jail, machineries, educational assistance, infrastructures and sports development initiatives. He also wants to revive traditional sports aside from staging events that allowed locals residents to see national motorcross champion Glen Aguilar, national football team captain Chieffy Caligdong and 11 veteran players of the Philippine Basketball Association.
