The Mahindra Enforcers, the up and coming team in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), unveiled their very own basketball training facility at the Azure Urban Resort and Residences in Bicutan, Parañaque City. Among those who led the inauguration was Columbian Group of Companies (CGC) Chairman Gov. Jose Ch. Alvarez of Palawan.
The facility reflects CGC’s continued support for the Mahindra Enforcers Team as they gear up to complete the 41st PBA season while also reinforcing the campaign for a dynamic basketball community ready to gain regional and global recognition.
Dubbed as “The Hardcourt,“ the structure houses modern equipment and amenities that follow the standards of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). Among the many features that prove The Hardcourt to be a state-of-the-art outfit for athletic development are Porter basketball backboards, which are commonly used in National Basketball Association (NBA) stadiums, and rubber padded maple-flooring set to prevent players from incurring on-court injuries.
“We are extremely proud to be one of the few PBA teams with an exclusive training facility. The team is looking forward to use the facility to improve its basketball skills,” said Mahindra Enforcers Team Manager Eric Pineda.
