Making Philippine cities more inclusive

The forum that accompanied the awarding of this year’s “The Manila Times Philippine Model Cities and Municipalities” revolved around the theme “Making Cities More Inclusive” and was a wide sweep over the different facets surrounding the subject.

Held at the Conrad Manila, the forum touched on urban planning, building green, optimizing the use of public spaces, administering government services, with particular focus on integrating the efforts of cities and municipalities within a megalopolis, as well as taking advantage of available smart technologies in doing so, fiscal federalism, and home sales and rental data and trends.
