It is no longer important for us if MNLF lieutenant Ustadz Habier Malik is alive or has been killed during the recent fighting with soldiers in Zamboanga. If he were alive, he would probably be looking for his boss Nur Misuari, who has disowned him and the MNLF, and left them to fend for themselves and to fight his own battle with them being used and exploited using him and MNLF troops. That’s how shrewd Misuari is. Moreso, “ipinahamak sila ni Misuari”.
It is good for us if Malik looks and eventually finds Misuari, their confrontation is something to watch out for. Their meeting will be good for Zamboanga which they destroyed. I hope Malik will give Mr. Misuari what he deserves. We also sense some infighting brewing within the MNLF and they will be more factionalized. It will be a “long time before he could launch another attack” again, as Defense Secretary Voltaire Gazmin said. Mujiv Hataman then representative of Anak Mindanao, now ARMM Governor, also said that Misuari fooled his men into going to Zamboanga in the guise of joining a Peace Caravan. Now most of these men are now cold and dead. Misuari, Malik are Malo, Mal Erencia!!
