A MAN wanted for attempted parricide was arrested on early Wednesday morning by a police tracker team during manhunt operation in a sub-urban village in Bais City, Negros Oriental, a police official said on Thursday. Senior Supt. Harris Fama, the chief of Negros Oriental Provincial Police Office (NOPPO), in a report sent to the Philippine National Police National Operation Center in Camp Crame, Quezon City (Metro Manila) identified the arrested wanted person as Edgar Acosta, 41, and married. The police official said the suspect was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for attempted parricide issued by the Regional Trial Court in Negros Oriental. Fama said that the suspect is now in the custody of the Bais City Police Station for proper disposition pending his turn over to the court that issued the warrant of arrest.
